Workshop Structure
Weeks 1 and 2
Development of project idea so from the workshop point of view an introduction to what can be achieved within the time-frame and a look at some outcome options.
Week 3
Students make their first print using material developed in 307 studio time
Weeks 4 and 5
This time will be spent developing drawn material and should also involve the introduction of tone to the image. Students should at this time be thinking and working through ideas around multiplicity and collecting and refining digital or photographic imagery.
Week 6
Students make their first photo-etching
Weeks 7 to 11
Students now have the technical skills relevant to the project brief and should be using workshop time to extend and develop their ideas. Over these five weeks the technician will be available to work with students on a one on one basis.
